The rural subjects of Ang Kiukok, such as junkscapes, cannot be designated to any particular period in the chronology of his career. His scarred land of junkscapes include piles of technological and mechanical debris. Ang Kiukok’s junkscapes are thematically related to his dogfights that bristle with a bellicose energy, so much so that poetry has even been written about those visual eyesores of technological junk.
