While the title alludes to a contemporary model, this work by Mia Herbosa bears traces of male beauty borrowed from the Renaissance ethos: long, flowing locks and feminine facial features. The model pointing at his temple reminds one of the Thinking Man by Rodin. His forehead, broad and intelligent, shines with a line that emanates from the top of the picture.
