ABOUT THE WORK

Rizal addresses the letter to Maria Rizal and thanks her for “the chocolate, sweets, and cigarettes… as well as tea that he has “already found in the box.” He sends his most famous advice to her son Moris : “Please tell Moris to speak English so that he would not forget it” — and a piece of practical wisdom to all young people of the internationalism and borderlessness of the world.
